Pie Update

So the pie never made the full trip to Oaks. It had a spot off! It has now been consumed by my co-workers and they have given it a thumbs up. Can't wait to make another pie!

BHG PIE

I tried my hand at homemade pie last night. The recipe comes from this months Better Homes and Gardens. Not wanting to fail or succeed alone I in listed the help of Makell and we made pie. Lets say it was an adventure with a big mess. Here are a few pictures.

Between the two of us I think we made a good looking pie and I hope it tastes as well as it looks. 
By the time we had finished it was to late to eat our fancy pies so taste testing will wait till this evening at Aunt Wendy's in Oaks, ND. I really hope this Apple Cranberry Pie turned out well and if so I will be baking it again. Special Thanks to Kyle my husband for buy the pastry blender tool and most the ingredients for this pie-sorry you are out hunting in Starkweather hunting and cannot enjoy this pie FIRST. LOVE LOVE YOU KW.
